Quilting tips
Fabric Management
Always Buy Extra Fabric: Purchase more fabric than you think you'll need. This prevents interruptions if you run out during a project. A good rule is to add an extra 1/4 yard to your requirements.
Use Precut Fabrics: Precut fabrics save time and effort, making it easier to start your projects without extensive cutting.

How should I care for my quilt?
Frequent washing may shorten the life of your quilt. To preserve its colors, avoid direct sunlight exposure. When laundering your quilt, it is best to use cold water. Always use 3-4 color catchers to prevent dye from bleeding, at least the first few times your quilt is washed. If machine washing, use a gentle cycle with cold water and rinse thoroughly, preferably twice. I use gentle detergents such as Eucalan or Retro-Clean which are known for their mildness. Preferred drying is flat but in the case of machine drying, use a cooler temperature setting. Do not store quilts in plastic. Re-fold and air-out quilts often.
We recommend gentle machine washing in cold water and air drying or low heat tumble drying to preserve your quilt's quality.
